The Alameda Health System Foundation Associate Board held a cocktail party and epicurean experience to improve the health of our community. Designed with the young professional in mind, Bon Appetit is a fun-filled and food-inspired celebration that features small bites and samplings from local restaurants, wineries, breweries, and more.
Proceeds from previous events have gone to the Healthy Eating for Good Health program at Hayward Wellness, a member of Alameda Health System. Promoting nutrition and physical activity, the program offers group visits to low-income families that help participants set health goals, learn how to prepare healthy meals, and gain access to fresh produce. Healthy Eating for Good Health was developed with support from the Kaiser Permanente Community Benefit Program in Southern Alameda County.
